MorStat™ Service
MorStat provides mortgage market share and lender rankings for over 7,000
lenders and all 50 states. Lender rankings can be generated for individual
counties, MSAs, states, or the entire U.S. Numerous data filters are available,
including jumbo mortgages, conventional conforming, FHA, VA, home purchase,
refinance, home improvement, and multifamily.
MorStat also generates extensive statistics on borrower characteristics,
including income, sex, race, and marital status. Approval, denial, and fallout
rates can be generated for any demographic category.
MorStat allows users to group multiple subsidiaries into one lender, select custom peer groups, and
develop custom geographic territories.
Instead of being constrained by pre-formatted reports, MorStat can generate
custom report formats.
Typical uses for MorStat include evaluation of new areas for geographic
expansion, examination of acquisition candidates, strategic planning, and
compliance with CRA and fair lending regulations.
